Senior full-stack engineer and tech lead
I fix the system, not the symptom.
Full-stack since 2020: React, NestJS and AWS. Most recently tech lead at Social Knowledge, building agentic delivery workflows.

Selected work
Replacing Create React App with rsbuild
Slow builds were taxing every deploy and every CI run. Swapping the build tool, not the framework, fixed it.
Builds up to 80% faster, lower CI compute cost
Passwordless email login on shared Keycloak
Users kept forgetting passwords, so we removed the password. Login moved to one-time codes inside the existing identity provider.
Simpler login, fewer password-recovery support requests
One API for trip planning, instead of several
Trip planning needed data spread across several backends. A dedicated NestJS service gathers it, so the frontend makes one call.
Unified REST API for trip planning features
Numbers I can actually back up
- Faster frontend builds after moving off Create React App
- 80%
- Less deployment time with CodePipeline and Terraform
- 30%
- Engineers led through a legacy platform rebuild
- 7
- More e-commerce sales after a React SPA rebuild
- 20%
How I work
I'm a full-stack engineer based in Nepal, working remotely with US teams since 2021. Most of my work sits where frontend, backend, identity and infrastructure meet, which is usually where the interesting bugs live.
I like understanding why a system behaves the way it does before changing it, and I prefer the smallest change that solves the real problem.
Measure before optimizing
“The app feels slow” is a hypothesis. Collect the numbers first, then decide what to fix.
Minimum unnecessary complexity
Not minimum complexity. Some problems need the extra service. Most don’t need one, and shouldn’t get one.
Ownership boundaries become architecture
Before adding a feature to a shared service, ask whether it belongs there or just happens to be nearby.
Agents do the typing, people own the decisions
AI writes a lot of my code. Plans get reviewed before implementation, and diffs get reviewed before merge.
Security is part of the design
Authentication, authorization and environment access are decided up front, not patched in after launch.
